Julia Grosspietsch

Short Biography

Julia Grosspietsch is a research student in the Department of Geography at Loughborough University. She was educated at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, Germany, and the University of Glamorgan, Pontypridd, and holds an MSc in ‘Global Transformations’ from Loughborough University. She is a member of the Globalization and World City Study Group and Network. In her research, she is investigating the changing conceptualisations and practices of town twinning in Europe, focusing on British–German town twinning partnerships.
