Janet Inglis
Short Biography
Janet Inglis has been Head of Behavioral Sciences at Webster University, Leiden, The Netherlands (http://www.webster.nl) since 2005. In 1999, she bought a roofless, ruined Scottish tower, Barholm Castle, and spent the next six years restoring it to a habitable state (http://www.barholm.net ). At the end of this lengthy process, she decided to carry out research into the many changes in Scottish castles, particularly the restorations, which have taken place since 1945. She is currently working towards a PhD in the Department of History at the University of Dundee, Scotland, under the supervision of Professor Charles McKean (http://www.dundee.ac.uk/history).
