Nathan Garvey

Short Biography

Nathan Garvey is a graduate of the University of Queensland. His Ph.D. thesis on the publishing history of the books associated with the eighteenth-century celebrity thief George Barrington (c.1758–1804) will be completed in March 2007. Nathan currently works as a research assistant on the AustLit: Gateway to Australian Literature database, a non-profit collaboration between ten Australian universities and the National Library of Australia. His main research interests include eighteenth-century British popular culture, nineteenth-century Australian literature and the history of the book.
