Ben Parsons

Short Biography

Ben Parsons completed his Ph.D. at the University of Sheffield in 2007. During the last three years he has co-authored articles dealing with various aspects of Dutch poetry and drama in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. He currently teaches medieval and early modern English literature at the universities of Leicester and Nottingham Trent. Aside from Dutch literature, his research interests include medieval theories of satire and the functions of violence in discourse.
