SPSP Videos now live
Unique in both range and approach, Social and Personality Psychology Compass publishes peer-reviewed surveys of the most important research and current thinking from across the entire discipline.
We are pleased to announce that the videos from the Rountable launch event are now available FREE at: http://www.blackwell-compass.com/home_video#sopofilm. The videos feature talks on the peer review process and journal editing given by Prof. Jerry Suls, Prof. Marilynn Brewer and Prof. Duane Wegener.
Details of the talks are as follows:
- Prof. Jerry Suls discusses the editorial process for social & personality psychology journals. He looks at what other fields do and asks what should social personality do?
- Prof. Marilynn Brewer discusses two alternative models of review and reviewer selection employed by JPSP and Psych Science respectively. She considers what this implies for social psychology as a science.
- Prof. Duane Wegener presents his talk Editing in Social and Personality Psychology: Observations of a (Still) Young But (Too) Experienced Editor at the SPSP roundtable.
